Seasonal Work

Vintage applications are now open for 2021

Vintage Work

Each year before harvest, we look for a few stellar people to join us as Cellar Hands, Weighbridge Coordinators, Wine Composition Coordinators and more. Our Kim Crawford Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is the No 1 wine in Canada and the top-selling Sauvignon Blanc in the US. We also produce small-batch wines only sold in New Zealand and Australia, including Wild Grace, Crafters Union and our ultra-premium Empirical brand.

If you want to work with the best winemakers, top-quality grapes, and state-of-the-art plant and equipment, look no further. We are now accepting applications for vintage 2021 across all of our wineries. We ask that you apply for one location as your top choice.

Blenheim, Marlborough

This is the heart of our Sauvignon Blanc operations. You will get the opportunity to work with our winemakers to create our distinctive Kim Crawford wines. Kim Crawford is the No 1 NZ Sauvignon Blanc in the USA and Canada. Blenheim is also home to our small-batch wines and luxury Pinot Noir. Estimated start date for this location is early March 2021.

Selaks Winery, Hawke's Bay

Our Hawke's Bay operation is unique in the number of wines and styles we produce here. It's the home of Kim Crawford Rose, and a host of other wines from Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris and Chardonnay to a splash of Cabernet and Merlot. The season in Hawke's Bay kicks off just before March, about a month earlier than in Marlborough. If you want to learn about a little of everything having to do with wine styles and varietals, this is the place for you. Cellar work here involves all aspects of winemaking, from barrel work and flotation to a variety of red cap management techniques. Estimated start date for this location is mid-February 2021.
