To help achieve this vision we are looking for an experienced and dedicated chief winemaker who will develop and implement our winemaking strategy to ensure we create exceptional wines whilst developing an innovative and excellence focused winemaking culture.

We are looking for someone with a tertiary qualification in winemaking from a recognised university. You must have the demonstrated ability to create exceptional wines in a large volume environment, be passionate and dedicated to excellence, quality and innovation.

In addition, we are looking for someone who is able to lead and influence others, has well developed interpersonal skills, and who has a positive, proactive and forward looking approach. There will be a requirement to spend time in the market.

Fixed term Casual Cellar Door Shop Assistant Constellation NZ
Auckland - Huapai

Constellation New Zealand is one of New Zealand’s leading wine producers/importers, with leading wine brands such as, Nobilo, Kim Crawford, Monkey Bay, Selaks, Drylands, Hardys and Banrock Station. Constellation NZ is owned by Constellation Brands Inc (USA), and forms part of the ‘world’s largest wine company.’

We are looking for someone to take on the challenge of a Cellar Door Shop Assistant in our Cellar Shop based in Huapai. This is an on call, casual position, with employment through to 19 April 2010.

In this role you will be dealing with our customers, to present and sell company products.

You must have great verbal communication skills and an ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A passion for wine is essential.

Account Manager Constellation NZ

We are inviting internal applications for an Account Manager’s role in the Northern Market Sales Team. 

In this role you will be responsible for maintaining and building strong relationships with some of our key customers, to present and sell company products and to ensure that we obtain our sales targets.

We are looking for someone with demonstrated ability to deliver sales results.  You must have previous proven negotiation and verbal communication skills and an ability to work independently as well as part of a team.  As this position requires calling on customers a current clean driver’s license is essential.

Label Operater
Auckland - Huapai

We are an Iconic NZ Winery based in Huapai and part of Constellation Wines a Global   wine and drinks, company. The
bottling function is an integral part of the Winery operations as it is the last quality gate the wine passes through before
reaching the consumer.

 We are currently looking for a Label Operator to join the day shift from 7am to 3:30pm in our Wine Bottling Facility. The Successful applicant will have responsibility for meeting labelling specifications and production targets in accordance with
the bottling plan.

Specifically to:

  • Set up the labeller and label stations.
  • Carry out Label machine Changeovers
  • label the Bottles in accordance with documented product specifications
  • Deliver finished packaging against product specifications, maintaining production throughputs to deliver the lowest possible cost per case.
  • Provide care and attention to wine quality and product presentation
  • To clean and maintain the labelling equipment, ensuring labels are applied on the bottle in the best possible condition to maintain consumer appeal and regulatory label requirements. 

The person we are seeking will have relevant industry experience, ideally within the Beverage, or Contract Bottling industry, although applicants with experience in high speed packaging on FMCG lines should also consider applying.

You will have the following attributes:
Be a highly motivated and innovative individual
Be able to work with minimal supervision
Be a team player with good communication skills
Have a continuous improvement approach to the role
Be able to troubleshoot and think on your feet.
